1. You can't control people's action or words.
Sometimes, we get too caught up in a bad mood, or our own thoughts and reaction, when people don't act the way we want them too. Or when people do or say things that we don't even understand why. But people are different one from another. Just because we can place ourselves in their shoes, and thinking "well if I were in their position, I wouldn't do that", doesn't mean that they were wrong. Just because their action and thoughts and habits are different from us, doesn't mean it validates that we are right and they were wrong. Sometimes we are just different people, with different upbringings, and we gotta agree to disagree, and learn to understand and move on.2. In accordingly, stop letting people who do so little for you, control so much of your mind, feelings and emotions.
Sure, when people who done something that upsets you are people who matters, people who were once do many good things to you, or people that are close and important to you, you should try to understand them. Put them in your thoughts, remind them when you feel like they do something wrong. Or tell them if they upsets you. But if those are people who don't matter much, whom you owe nothing to, nor people who don't even care or never do anything good to you, why bother caring?
3. Stop trying to explain yourself cause people only understand from their level of perception.
Someone once told me, it's useless to deal with overly-sensitive people. They are always able to find a mistake in anything you say or do. And sometimes, people just choose to understand you in a negative way. They judge you based on one action you did, and determines that it's your true colour. Like, whut? And we tend to get caught up in explaining that we didn't mean it, or we're not as mean as they thought, but it's useless. People don't care that much and probably won't be able to differentiate explanation and excuses. And like it or not, sometimes they just choose to understand and trust their own level of perception.4. I learned long ago never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty. And besides, the pig likes it.
Some people, oddly, just like to create drama and fight. With these kind of people, never mind about apologizing, it's even useless to try to talk and find a solution. Even when you already apologized, they would not want it to be done. It's toxic, and sometimes they just do this because they feel superior. Or maybe their only capability is fighting. Or maybe just like the pig, they just like it. Who knows?
5. Sometimes, the best revenge is your own success. Nothing slaps them in the face more than that.
See people like Taylor Swift. LOTS of people actually hates her. Does that stops her from earning money? The more people badmouth her, the more famous she is. When people are busy talking badly about her, she is probably busy eating chocolates on her private jet. The more people sunk into hatred towards her, the longer she stays on their mind. Her breakups inspire her to write many songs. When you can turn a disadvantageous circumstances to something that benefits you, you're doing the right thing. When people hates you, make it more as a motivation for you not to fail, for you to be better than them haters. They would be happy if you fail, but you shouldn't be. That should fire you up, just keep slaying :)6. The world is harsh. Either you try to be tough and crush it. Or the world will crush you.
As much as I would like to keep the child inside me, I realize life is not always all rainbow and unicorn. Sometimes, the only thing that would keeps me going is my own mentality. Dealing with a lot of hardships or works or to-dos in life, if we crumble, life is not going to get any easier. Fight it and go with the flow tend to go hand-in-hand in this matter. And sometimes, it is better to trust no one completely. Not everyone is as kind as you thought they would be. And it is better to be safe than sorry.- 7:38 PM
