Even when they know they will hurt you, they will taste every fibre in you, because they don't want to miss out on you.
They will deny it when you ask why they treat you like a sample.

Even when they know something is wrong with them, they will not fix it, because it does not affect them anyway.
They will deny it when you ask why it affects you instead.

Even when they know they would not fall for you, they will not tell you, because they had to try and give it a chance anyway.
They will deny it when you ask why when they had no intention of loving you back.

Even when they know they do not worth your trust, they will assure you anyway, because they want to fulfil their curiosity.
They will deny it when you ask why they keep breaking your trusts.

Until they realise how real this is.
Until they realise how it is not as good as what they expect it to be.
Until they realise the past is better than the present.
Until they realise they can't turn back the time.

That is the thing about selfish people, they break people's hearts, soul, and happiness to please themselves. One second they cuddle with you, hug you, missing you, and the next they disregard you like you were nothing.

That is when the person you thought they were, turns out to be nothing like what you expect.
That is when they lose interest, saying it is better for you to find someone else.
That is when they apologise, giving empty promises of not going to do it again.

But they will.
