During my new life as a junior in university, I've learned a lot more about the world outside. Being an alumni from an international school, got me used to having a freedom to speak out my ideas, as well as having equality both between senior and juniors; in terms of respect as well as treatment. The world outside (or probably just in Indonesia) however, is different.

As I am currently now preparing for my orientation camp, so far what I learnt is that mistake is equal to punishment. As well as I-do-not-care-how-you-find-it-just-do-it. As well as little things like pun is not meant to be fun.

I wish I could learn a far more better or wiser things though. Unfortunately, nowadays it doesn't go that way. One example is that how we all will get punished if we did a mistake. I don't think this way will resulted in making a person better, or more perfect. We aren't flawless, and yes it's human to do some mistake sometimes. In fact we can learn from our mistake and do better. But with this punishment system, we didn't avoid mistake because we think it is not the right thing to do. We avoid mistake because we didn't want to be punished. And sadly, this is how our future generation is shaped.

That's why people cheat if they have the chance, because as long as they don't get caught they will not be punished. That's why people crossed the red light, because as long as there are no police around they won't have to be responsible. That's why people do bad things when nobody is around, because as long as they maintain good attitude in front of others they will still be loved.

And probably, avoiding punishment is the only principle of living to some human nowadays, without even considering about integrity.

I thought of writing this post after I finished reading "Paper Towns" by John Green. It was one fantastic book, the more you flip the pages and go to the ending, the more intriguing it becomes. At first I had no idea what Paper Town really means, but then as the story goes on the idea unraveled bit by bit. I adore John Green in a way that his way of thinking, his ideas, the plot he made, the metaphors and the quotes you can found inside the book is simply... mind blowing yet make sense at the same time. Then I crossed upon this quote, phrase, metaphors, whatever you named it —which got me thinking and having some nostalgia and agreeing —that I guess also concluding the whole book.

"Nothing ever happens like you imagine it will... But then again, if you don't imagine, nothing ever happens at all. Imagining isn't perfect. You can't get all the way inside someone else... But imagining being someone else, or the world being something else, is the only way in."

The thing is, sometimes we tend to imagine what will happen next. Either imagining the best of people or imagining that something would make you happy. Or imagining the worst thing that could happen. We imagine surprises during birthday, expression of love during valentine, certain action from people. We imagine people might embarrassed us when we are nervous, how a certain roller coaster could make you sick. And what happen usually is either better or worse, never exactly like you imagine it will, unless you got a sixth sense.

But imagination is needed. Sometimes, in order to understand someone, you have to imagine being in their shoes. Imagine what would they feel, what would they do, how would they respond. And not only people, sometimes, imagining the world being something else, is what motivates you to survive this life, or change for the better.

The sweet taste of raspberry syrup and the bitter taste of coffee balances so well in this beverage, pretty much my current Starbucks favourite. Raspberry Truffle Mocha Frappucino is topped with a pink colour raspberry whipped cream, which is new in Starbucks. This beverage tastes pretty similar with one of the Starbucks Secret Menu, my previous favorite, the Raspberry Caramel Macchiato.

"A Raspberry Caramel Macchiato is made the same way as a regular Caramel Macchiato, but subs raspberry syrup for the vanilla syrup found on the bottom of the drink... So from bottom to top it goes, raspberry syrup, ice, milk, espresso, then caramel on top!"

"Each of us is born with a box of matches inside us but we can't strike them all by ourselves."

I think this is a meaningful quote to share. We are all social creature. Not only we can't live without others, we might have a hard time having a feeling too without others. We all do have a box of matches inside us. Some people are able to strike the happy-feeling-match, and create a spark of happiness inside of us. Some people are just pure annoying, that they created a fire of anger. Some people are just trying so hard to strike the match, but they failed to create the warmth of love inside of us. I think that we have no control over these things. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try to love someone who loves us, we just can't.

So, I've been thinking of starting a new blog this new year, as I left my previous ones (which focuses on fashion only) because I practically had nothing to talk about, when I didn't have time to follow up what's going on in the fashion industry.

Now I'm going to try to start a new one, to share my personal experiences, thoughts, fashion, food, photography, quote of the day, random stuffs or basically anything that I'm currently into.

Why "Bubbly Babble" ?
I tend to talk in a bubbly way in real life, talking mostly random stuffs and sharing what I like. Therefore I also want to do the same thing here in this blog. Maybe there will be times that I don't talk in a bubbly way, nor sharing happy positive thoughts, but I will try to always post inspiring or useful thoughts.
